Course Accommodation Letter

The Course Accommodation Letter (CAL) serves as notification of the accommodations the student plans to utilize in the course. Accommodations are not required to be applied retroactively and take effect only after the student generates and sends the CAL for your course via email. After the student generates the CAL for your course, it will be sent to you via Kent State email. Additionally, you can view and manage all accommodation requests for your courses through the Access KSU Instructor Portal.

Instructors should:

  1. Review the CAL and the additional information about accommodations provided below. If you have any questions, contact SAS.
  2. Collaborate with the student and SAS to implement accommodations.
  3. If you have any concerns about the feasibility of an accommodation within your course, please consult with SAS.
