Description: Alpha Phi Sigma recognizes academic excellence among undergraduate and graduate students of criminal justice.

Purpose: Alpha Phi Sigma was established in 1942 by Dr. Vivian Anderson Leonard at Washington State University. The associated was recognized by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences in 1976 as the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. Alpha Phi Sigma members seek to honor and promote academic excellence, community service, educational leadership, and unity.

Want to become a member?

*Must be a Criminology (CRIM) major, minor, or closely related field
*Must have completed 45 credit hours, 12 of them need to be in Criminology (CRIM)

*Must have 3.2 cumulative and in CRIM courses
