Biography

Research interests: policing, experimental criminology, delinquency, criminal decision-making.

My research interests are in policing, experimental design, and juvenile delinquency. I am particularly interested in how public perceptions of police encounters influence perceptions of police legitimacy. My current research utilizes experimental survey designs to explore how police behavior impacts perceptions of police legitimacy.

I am the faculty co-advisor for the Criminal Justice Honor Society—Alpha Phi Sigma, Psi Chapter.

Education

Ph.D., 2018, University of Nebraska Omaha, Criminology & Criminal Justice
