Barbara Spencer

Barb Spencer is the Business Manager for the Office of the Dean of Students.  Joining the team in June 2017, Barb oversees the business, human resources and fiscal functions for the departments reporting to the Dean.  She joined Kent State University seven years ago and has held positions in the University College Dean’s Office, Student Success Programs and Alternative Credit and Articulation Agreements.  Barb has over 20 years’ experience in both corporate and higher education environments. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Management, an Associate’s Degree in Applied Business and will begin graduate school next year.
