No. Students and employees are not required to disclose their pregnancy or parenting status to faculty, staff, or university administration, unless they are requesting accommodations.
However, Kent State encourages a supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable voluntarily sharing this information. Doing so allows the university to offer resources that support both the physical and mental well-being of pregnant and parenting students and employees.
