Enrollment Certification

If your insurance company, employer or other party requires proof of your enrollment or good standing at Kent State University, you should follow the instructions below to obtain an official enrollment certification. Kent State University doesn't process paper or in-person requests for Enrollment Certifications. If an official transcript is required, visit the Requesting a Transcript page for details on obtaining an official transcript.

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Access FlashLine. You will need to know your login information.
  2. Click on Student / Resources / Requests and Authorizations.
  3. Click on Enrollment Certification and follow the instructions.
  4. There is also an option to print a letter and mail it yourself to your insurance company. Under the Student Tools tab on FlashLine, at the bottom, click on National Student Clearinghouse. Follow the instructions to obtain an enrollment certificate to print and mail to a health insurer or other company requesting proof of enrollment. You may click on either "Current Enrollment," which shows the most recent semester, or "All Enrollment," which shows your complete enrollment history. Once you've made your choice, you may print and mail the enrollment letter that is displayed. This is considered an official enrollment certification.
