School of Fashion Summer Fashion Academy

The academy is a one-week program, June 8-14, 2025, that introduces high school students to key areas in fashion design and merchandising. The Summer Fashion Academy will allow creative, motivated teens to explore their passion for fashion in a pre-college, summer residence program. Our mission is to inspire creative and resourceful fashion leaders.

Kent Blossom Art Intensives Exhibition

The School of Art Collection and Galleries at Kent State University is pleased to announce the continuation of the annual Kent Blossom Art Intensives exhibition (KBAI). The exhibition features the work of visiting artists and resident faculty in ceramics, glass, painting and textiles. The Kent Blossom Art Intensives Exhibition will be on display June 2 – June 13, 2025, at the CVA Gallery located in the Center for the Visual Arts, 325 Terrace Drive, Kent, Ohio. There will be a reception on Monday, June 2, from 4-6 p.m., which is free and open to the public.

The Kent State University Museum is pleased to announce its winter exhibition, “Hildur Ásgeirsdóttir Jónsson: Micro/Macro,” a solo exhibition by Ohio-based artist, Hildur Ásgeirsdóttir Jónsson. Consistent with the museum’s mission to showcase exceptional textile art and to inspire the next generation of artists, the exhibition includes over 30 large-scale works by Kent State alumna Jónsson.
