Kent State’s journey to Canvas is now underway!

We are so excited to begin offering Kent State classes on Canvas, an innovative platform that’s engaging and easy to use for students in online and in-person classrooms.

What is Canvas?

Canvas is an online platform for online courses, content, assignments, and/or class activities. Canvas is intuitive and easy to use! The following information will help you get started!

Review our Student Guides for Canvas for helpful resources and guides!

Can I Try/Preview Canvas?

Absolutely! Try Canvas in a Flash, a self-paced Canvas training/preview. Feel free to walk through this resource and learn more about Canvas at KSU

How do I access Canvas?

In Fall 2021 and Spring 2022, some courses will be delivered in Canvas, others in Blackboard. A new Canvas/Blackboard button and dashboard in FlashLine will help to easily identify and access Canvas or Blackboard courses.
