We are excited to be offering an interdisciplinary study abroad in Lisbon, Portugal during the month of July 2024.

Collaborating with our partner institution, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), the class will work with a local client in Lisbon, Batoto Yetu to develop a virtual reality product that will tell the rich history and contributions of African immigrants to Portugal.

Dr. David Silva and Dr. Teddy Workneh will be co-teaching the course and students will have the opportunity to use the open-source technology GLARE, an augmented reality/virtual reality tool developed by Kent State Faculty.
