Program Description

This series of 4 workshops is designed to give faculty members the opportunity to engage with Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI).  This program is for folks who have not used GAI and those who have explored it.  CTL will provide support as we use AI, discuss and plan for engaging students with AI, develop policy and reflect about ethical considerations and GAI use.  Participants will receive a $750 award upon actively engaging in all 4 workshops. Participation includes preparation work before sessions and deliverables; expecting no more than 1 hr of work outside of each session.

We will discuss how its use by instructors, engaging students with AI, policy development and implementation, and reflection about GAI.  Instructors will receive a $750 award upon actively participating in all 4 workshops.   Participation include preparation work before sessions and deliverables; expecting no more than 1 hr of work outside of each session.  

Applicants will indicate which program they can attend all 4 workshops and describe a preference (if they have one).  They will also be asked to describe their knowledge and experience (if any) they with generative artificial intelligence.
