As an interdisciplinary school, the School of Emerging Media and Technology is ideal for a wide range of students.

Students in the School's Bachelor's program get a broad overview of digital technologies, study high-demand technical topics, learn how to make technology easier to use, and learn how to work as part of a diverse project team.  They like technology, design, and working with a wide range of people.

 

Incoming Student Scholarship Application

All high school seniors who have been admitted to Kent State's College of Communication and Information (CCI) are invited to apply for CCI scholarships.

The general incoming student scholarship application has now closed. The Wallace J. Hagedorn Scholarship in Photography remains open until April 15, 2021.

CCI Dean's Scholarship

The CCI Dean's Scholarship is a need-based scholarship open to admitted Kent State undergraduates in:

  • School of Communication Studies
  • School of Emerging Media and Technology
  • School of Media and Journalism
  • School of Visual Communication Design

To be considered for the CCI Dean’s Scholarships, students must complete the Scholarship Application and must have a completed FAFSA on file.
