Regional and national conferences in media and technology offer students the opportunity to network with tech professionals and explore new ideas and innovation connected to coursework.

Ohio Celebration of Women in Computing

Kent State students can apply for a scholarship to attend the OWCiC, a biennial conference that gives college women the opportunity to explore careers in IT, to network with other young women and to meet possible mentors. Students who receive a scholarship will be able to attend the regional conference at no cost.
