FAFSA Information

The 2025-2026 FAFSA is projected to be available by December 1, 2024.

Here are some things you can do in the meantime to prepare:

  1. Create a StudentAid.gov account if you do not have one already. Students and contributors must each have their own account(s).
  2. Make sure you have your Social Security number (unless you are a citizen of the Freely Associated States).
  3. Gather your 2023 tax records
  4. Gather records of your assets, including any child support received; current balances of cash, savings, and checking accounts; and net worth of investments, business, and farms.
  5. Make sure you know your contributor's information if applicable. You will need their name, date of birth, Social Security number (if they have one), and email address.
  6. Know what schools you would like to send your FAFSA information to (if you are a high school senior) or your current school's name.

There is still time to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA!

If you haven't already done so, there’s still time to submit the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and receive financial aid for the school year. The 2024-25 academic year includes Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025. The FAFSA should be completed well before all payment deadlines to ensure funds are available to assist with your bill.

Financial Aid Estimator

  • The Financial Aid Estimator tool will help students and families estimate any federal aid they may be eligible for during the 2025-2026 academic year. Students must provide some basic financial information to help calculate the estimated Student Aid Index(SAI) and potential federal assistance. This is not the actual FAFSA. You will need to go to www.fafsa.gov to file the form. The form is slated to open in December 2024.
