Scholarships for Transfer Students
Ready to move to a university that’s a better fit for your goals?
We’re ready for you! We want to make it affordable to finish your degree.
Transfer scholarships included in the chart below are awarded based on your cumulative grade point average from all previous colleges attended. You will be considered for these scholarships simply by applying for admission to Kent State by Dec. 1, 2019 for spring semester.
Many Colleges and departments offer scholarship opportunities as well. These scholarship programs often require a separate application. Use the Kent State Scholarship Search to look for additional scholarships for which you may be eligible to apply.
Students admitted by Dec. 1 for spring will automatically be considered for the Transfer2Kent Scholarship or the Flash Transfer Northeast Ohio Scholarship. In addition, non-resident students will be reviewed for the Transfer University Award.
You must be a U.S. citizen pursuing your first Bachelor’s degree full-time at the Kent Campus.
Transfer scholarships apply only to tuition.
