Webinar: It's Not Selfish It's Self-Care

Tues., March 31, noon – 1 p.m.

Self-care often gets pushed to the back burner. It might be that you feel selfish taking time for yourself when you could be doing things for others. Or, you might struggle to find the time to make self-care a priority. But particularly in today's wireless world, where we are constantly responding to others, making time for self-care is a key component to managing stress and remaining resilient.

Our presenter for this Employee Wellness offering will be Alan Gecht, MA, LPCC. Alan is an account manager for IMPACT Solutions, Employee Assistance Program. Whether training or working with a client in a clinical setting, Alan’s goal is to provide practical, solution-focused strategies for life’s issues that virtually anyone can apply with success.

During this interactive session, you'll learn strategies for building up your self-care reserve and learn how to say 'no' without guilt. Registration is required for this webinar by March 27, 2020.

All full- and part-time faculty/staff employees are encouraged to participate. For full-time, benefits-eligible employees participating in the Wellness Your Way program, this session will be worth 10 points toward your Tier 2 total for 2020.
