Joe Manganelli, Ph.D. teaches courses in User Experience Design, including Information Architecture. His goal is improving the capacity of the built environment to enhance human health, well-being and cognition. He is the founder of xplr design, llc, a human factors consultancy. He is a co-author on the National Institute of Standards and Technology's, Internet-of-Things-Enabled Smart-City Framework and completed a post-doctoral research fellowship studying distracted driving (phone GUIs) at CU-ICAR.
