Retirees are welcome to participate in the Senior Guest Program if they are age 60 or over. The Senior Guest Program at Kent State University allows Ohio residents age 60 years and older to attend regular university classes on a tuition-free basis. Tuition waiver privileges are offered to retirees, their spouses and dependent children in accordance with University Policy #3342-6-09. Please read the policy for eligibility guidelines. This tuition waiver applies to regular university classes taken for credit. Application forms can be found in the HR Forms Library.
RECREATIONAL SERVICES

Retirees are eligible to purchase Recreation and Wellness Center memberships at the part-time faculty/staff rate for themselves and for their companion/dependents. Retirees may also purchase day passes. Please present your Retiree ID Card at the Pro Shop. Other benefits may be available to you through the Recreation Center such as Silver Sneakers and no cost services through Medicare.

Faculty retirees retain the same borrowing privileges they had as active faculty and can sign out materials from University Libraries using their Retiree ID Card or other current photo ID. All library databases may be used by faculty retirees from on campus.
