NURSING - Due to issues related to state board of nursing licensure, the following programs are not available to Louisiana and Washington state residents: R.N. to B.S.N., Doctor of Nursing Practice, Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist, Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

| California | Per CEC §94874 and §94874.5, as an out-of-state public institution, Kent State University is not under the purview of the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education. Therefore, Kent State is in compliance with California regulations to offer online/distance learning programs to California residents. |
| Connecticut | Kent State University does not have physical presence in the state, as defined by the Connecticut State Regulations for Licensure and Accreditation of Institutions and Programs of Higher Learning.
