Sign-up for temporary email forwarding

This service is designed to reduce the friction associated with discontinuing an email service and is planned to be provided until October 15, 2027.

After signing up, email will continue to be delivered to your kent.edu account until the transition date of October 15, 2025. At which point, messages sent to your kent.edu account will be delivered to the personal address you've specified. As a reminder, this is a mail forwarding service. If you wish to retain the data in your mailbox, or any other kent.edu-related services (OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.), please follow the other instructions on this page to migrate data.

NOTE: This service is available to anyone who has taken an academic course at Kent State University.

1. Go to the email forwarding service.

2. Enter your personal email address and click Place Request, then click Confirm.

3. Check your personal email address for a confirmation email from Kent State Alumni Email Forwarding.

You must click the link in the email to complete the setup. NOTE: The link will expire in 3 days.

4. Click the Yes, I Confirm button.
