Alumni Association Member Ronald Fowler, BS ’59, Akron, Ohio, pastor laureate of Arlington Church of God (where he served as senior pastor for 42 years) and longtime community activist, received the first Lifetime Achievement award from the Akron Urban League at its annual Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration in January. Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan presented a proclamation dedicating January 16 as Rev. Fowler Day.
