Student Media magazines are back in full force. In November, The Burr, A Magazine and Fusion hit the racks with their Fall 2025 issues. This spring, The Kent Stater debuted The Playbook, its first-ever sports preview magazine, now available on stands and online. The Playbook will publish at the beginning of each semester, serving as both a recap and a preview of Kent State athletics, complete with features on teams and players.
Student Media is also welcoming back Uhuru, which returns to stands this April after a four-semester hiatus. Joining Uhuru on racks this spring are new issues of The Burr, A Magazine, Fusion and Luna Negra. There is also something new: Ko|Ad, a magazine centered on architecture, fashion and visual design, is the newest organization to join Student Media through the FlashLab program and will debut on stands in April.
