
Cheryl Ann Lambert
Biography
Cheryl Ann Lambert (Ph.D., University of Tennessee) is an associate professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Kent State University.
Dr. Lambert is a constructivist qualitative scholar whose research is informed by seven years in corporate public relations (Sears, Roebuck, and Co.) and five years in trade publishing (Chilton Publishing). Her research focus is media representations of public relations in contemporary and historical contexts. She has analyzed public relations in the news media, popular culture, and war-time propaganda. Dr. Lambert also studies public relations-related health discourse. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Media Ethics, Public Relations Inquiry, and Health Marketing Quarterly.
