Cheryl Ann Lambert is an associate professor in the School of Media and Journalism at Kent State University. In her research, she studies how public relations is portrayed in the media, in popular culture, and in publicity campaigns.

She also does research in health messaging. Her work is published in academic journals and presented at national and international conferences.

She worked for seven years in corporate public relations at Sears, Roebuck and Co. and five years on the editorial staff of Home Improvement Market magazine at Chilton Publishing Company.

When she gets the chance, she manages PRDepiction, the only blog solely dedicated to depictions of public relations in media and popular culture. Her favorite thing to do in her free time is watch movies or television shows about superheroes or supernatural horror.
