Julee Henry
Biography
Dr. Julee Henry is the Director of Technology and Instructional Resources at Kent State University, where she has managed the Instructional Resource Center (IRC) for over 17 years. She is the visionary behind the Learning Innovations Lab, a dynamic space designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and the integration of emerging technologies into education. In 2024, she further expanded the IRC’s impact by founding the IRC–Learning Innovations 3D Print Lab, advancing hands-on learning, design thinking, and innovative problem-solving across the university community. Additionally, Dr. Henry serves as Chair of the Technology Advisory Council in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services (EHHS), providing strategic leadership on technology initiatives and innovation.
Dr. Henry’s teaching experience complements her leadership role, blending practical educational expertise with a strategic focus on innovation. She excels in collaboration, effective communication, problem-solving, and resource management, consistently achieving measurable results.
Under her leadership, the IRC, Learning Innovations Lab, and 3D Print Lab have become models for technology-driven solutions, offering exemplary programs, professional development opportunities, and support for both online and in-person learning. Known for her adaptability and forward-thinking approach, Dr. Henry continues to enhance university operations while contributing valuable insight to institutional projects and initiatives.
