The Kent Campus screening will take place in 107 Heer Hall. Additional screening dates for October can be found on the wellness calendar and the Be Well portal. Feel free to make an appointment at the campus that fits your schedule.

You do not have to be covered by one of the university health plans in order to take advantage of this offer. In preparation for the health screening, participants must fast for 8-10 hours before their onsite screening. Please note that the blood draw is via a simple finger stick. Confidential results will be provided to the employee for the following:

  • Glucose
  • Total cholesterol, including HDL and LDL
  • Triglycerides
  • Blood pressure
  • Body mass index

Prizes Awarded

All employees who complete the personal health risk assessment and screening will receive five raffle tickets to enter into various gift offerings of their choice. Scheduling for your appointment and completing the online health risk assessment may all be completed at Be Well's secure website at portal.bewelldata.com.

Note: If you have not yet signed into the Be Well website, first-time instructions on completing the registration process are available on our Be Well partners web page

At Kent State, we want to honor the celebration of our Native American and Indigenous culture by developing a calendar encompassing all the university events that are relevant to Native American Heritage Month. The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.

Open Enrollment is from Oct. 16, through Nov. 3. Each year in the fall, benefits-eligible employees may select and make changes to their health coverage plans based on their needs and the needs of their family. Outside a qualifying life event, this will be the only window during which such changes may be made. Click to learn more, and to see how to access the Open Enrollment Portal.
