Biography
Sheila Lyons worked at Kent State University Airport for contracted maintenance companies in the late 1990’s. She was initially employed with Baker Aircraft, then Novak’s Aircraft, and finally by Portage Flight Center. Sheila left the aviation industry for three years for a position with Fyda Freightliner and began working for the Kent State aeronautics program in September 2006.
Sheila's favorite part of her position is getting to meet and work with the students and watching them grow into amazing professionals!
