Fashion Academy - Summer
The academy is a one-week program, contact department for dates, that introduces high school students to key areas in fashion design and merchandising. The Summer Fashion Academy will allow creative, motivated teens to explore their passion for fashion in a pre-college, summer residence program. Our mission is to inspire creative and resourceful fashion leaders.

Wick Juniors Summer Writing Camp
Wick Juniors offers opportunities for young writers, entering 3rd grade to 12th grade, to have a positive experience exercising their own capacities for self-expression.
We achieve this via a combination of a supportive community of peers, our passionate trained teaching artists, and our unique collaboration with the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park which helps us to offer active, hands-on experiences in the Park. Together these elements help your writers ask important questions about their place in the world.
Trained Wick Poetry Center Teaching Artists and CVNP Environmental Education Center staff facilitate the camp activities. Campers get to know each other and explore various aspects of the Kent State University Campus on Wednesday. The next day they join us the Cuyahoga Valley National Park for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning. With the National Park as our laboratory and inspiration, we organize a variety of hands on activities paired with creative reflection. We are housed overnight Thursday-Sunday at the Environmental Education Center. We welcome friends and families to a culminating reading and celebration on Sunday morning.
Please check back in January 2026 for 2026 camp registration.
