HS Programs

  • Our athletic training programs specialize in the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. We offer a challenging curriculum and our dedicated faculty prepare students for rewarding careers in the athletic training profession and related fields. 

  • The Exercise Science/Physiology program is to promote the development of a healthy physically active lifestyle and prepare its graduates for teaching exercise science and fitness professions. Students will acquire knowledge of human movement, requisite skills and competencies in their area of specialization at the Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral levels.

  • Health education is a social science that draws from the biological, environmental, psychological, physical and medical sciences to promote health and prevent disease, disability and premature death through education-driven voluntary behavior change activities.

  • This interdisciplinary program aims to educate individuals to serve the present and future needs of an increasingly diverse society in the professional fields associated with health and/or medical services.

  • The Nutrition and Dietetics program provides students with a broad general education and a strong foundation in nutrition, dietetics and the sciences.

  • The Speech Pathology & Audiology Program prepares students to diagnose, treat, and research communication disorders, and provide community service to individuals with communication disorders.

  • The B.S. degree in Sports Medicine focuses on the knowledge and skills that are required for sports medicine and athletic training professionals with specific coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, chemistry, physics, basics of sports medicine, and more.
