The Kent State University Police Academy Cadets were honored to work the 2019 Commencement. There were eighteen Cadets reporting for duty at 7:00 AM on Saturday, May 11,2019. All of the cadets worked side by side with the Kent State University Police Department, Ohio Highway Patrol, Portage County Sheriff's Office and Brimfield Police Department. The Cadets learned invaluable experience in traffic control and community policing that they will be able to use as future Law Enforcement Officers.
