- Have experience teaching or serving first year students.
- Be willing to develop a positive relationship with each student in their assigned section.
- Be willing and available to engage with students over Fall and Spring semesters outside of the classroom. This will include class time, individual meetings, and other intentional follow-up (particularly in the Spring) with students.
- Be willing to work with and further develop your assigned Peer Success Mentor (PSM)
- Commit to being present at all sessions of their assigned section.
- Commit to meet weekly with their assigned PSM to co-design class content and discuss concerns about students.
- Be willing and available to participate in the assessment of their assigned section.
- Master’s Degree, in any field
- Be willing and available to participate in a two-day virtual Instructor Academy on May 15-16.
