One photo at Dix Stadium captured three of the essential parts of a Kent State Homecoming: a member of the Marching Golden Flashes, Flash the Mascot and Kent State's own "Super Fan," Heather Strittmatter.
Strittmatter has been cheering on Kent State's athletic teams for more than 19 years. She's well known to Kent State Athletics and her exuberant (and very vocal) support of Kent State's student athletes earned her the title of "Super Fan."
Also cheering on Kent State's student athletes, school spirit lifted these Golden Flash cheerleaders into the air at Kent State's Homecoming game at Dix Stadium.
