Stress can impact your physical and emotional health, and it can lead you to engage in unhealthy behaviors. Studies have found a link between high stress and diabetes, elevated LDL cholesterol, heart disease, hypertension, obesity, as well as tooth and gum disease.

Finding positive ways to cope with your stressors can help improve your overall health and well-being and is specifically the strategies you will learn and enhance during the Winter Chill Challenge. The challenge will take place from March 1-28

Let's chill out together. Join the Winter Chill 28-Day Challenge today! Registration will be accepted through Feb. 28.

In ordinance with this bill, Kent State University created a new administrative policy for religious and spiritual accommodations. This administrative policy allows students to report up to three days of unexcused absences to participate in religious holidays or community-held events in alignment with their spirituality.

At Kent State, we want to honor the celebration of our Native American and Indigenous culture by developing a calendar encompassing all the university events that are relevant to Native American Heritage Month. The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
