Kent State University Police Academy Cadets Volunteer Homecoming Event

Kent State University Police Academy Cadets Volunteer for the Flashes Record Breaking Win Over Bowling Green.

Kent State University Police Academy cadets were proud to volunteer for the Flashes Homecoming game against Bowling Green on September 21, 2019.  Football player Will Matthews said it best “The first thing I think of when it comes to Kent State is Family. I felt the welcoming hands when I arrived on campus.  This is a place where you are pushed to be the best in every aspect of life, WE ARE KENT!”

The cadets were asked by parking services to help with directing traffic in the stadium parking lots.  Over half of the new Fall Day Academy Class volunteered for duty.  This is an excellent teaching experience for our future law enforcement officers in traffic control and communication.

The Kent State University Family from the Kent State Police Department, ROTC, Police Academy and Parking Services helped to make this a safe and fun Homecoming event.
