Biography
Dr. Richard Adams is the Chair of the Sociology and Criminology Department. He was born in LA. He was working in Manhattan when the World Trade Center was attacked. Most of his research is on trauma, like World Trade Center attacks or combat exposure, and mental health. He has been at KSU for 16 years. His wife is a professor in the Department of Sociology at Cleveland State. They met in graduate school at Indiana University.
