    Biography

    Miles Davis-Matthews (he/they) graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2021 with a B.A. in  International Affairs and History/Political Science. As a graduate student, Miles' main research interests include race and racism, gender and sexuality, spatial inequality, and intersectional theory. Miles' intends on developing future research projects that center on the lived experiences of Black, queer people living in rural America.

    Outside of the academic setting, Miles enjoys rock climbing, hiking, Muy Thai, and music.
