Personal and Professional Development

Personal and professional development is one of our three core areas of support and includes career development, leadership development, and student involvement. These services are designed to help you grow professionally and explore the possibilities of graduate school, develop your leadership skills to assist you in becoming a campus leader, and provide you with a variety of workshops, social events, and cultural immersion experiences.

Career Development

Career Development

Whether you are seeking student employment on campus, are hoping to secure an internship, or are nearing graduation and searching for positions within your field of study, we will work with you to ensure you are career ready!  Each year we host Go Pro! Career Readiness Workshops, assist students as their search for jobs and internships, and provide opportunities for students to participate in business etiquette dinners.

Leadership Development

Leadership Development

Through a variety of experiences and courses, we want to help you develop transferrable leadership skills that can be applied in the classroom, within student organizations, and life beyond KSU.  To help sharpen a variety of leadership skills, we encourage our students to attend our Annual Weekend Leadership Retreat, enroll in our Empowered Leader Seminar Course, or register for the University’s Peer Leader Training Course.
