The University Bands Alumni Chapter invites fellow band alumni to participate in the annual performances with the Kent State Marching Golden Flashes at the Homecoming parade and football game halftime show.
Kick off the day on Summit Street with our pre-parade block party, featuring games, family fun and the cherished “Kiss on the K” ceremony for campus sweethearts.

The Kent State LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter is celebrating Homecoming 2026 following the Homecoming Parade! Join alumni, students, faculty and staff for light appetizers and a cash bar from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Nineteen10 Restaurant in the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center.
Gather just outside Dix Stadium for the ultimate pregame celebration! Enjoy a free lunch (complete with an ice cream truck), live DJ, inflatables, a magician and more!
The Varsity K All Sport Reunion is back! All Kent State former student-athletes, cheer or dance team members, athletic trainers or student managers are invited to join us on the north platform, and watch Kent State Football take on Ohio University on Saturday, Oct. 3.
Cheer on the Golden Flashes as they battle the Ohio Bobcats! Purchase general admission tickets for $25. The action continues at halftime with an incredible performance by the marching band and the crowning of this year's Homecoming royalty.
