Kent State Alumna and Army Neuroscientist Hopes to Become Astronaut

A Northeast Ohio native, Brager received her Ph.D. in Kent State’s Department of Biological Sciences, in neuroscience and physiology.

Brager recently was featured in a story by WEWS Channel 5 in Cleveland, in which she credited her professors and mentors at Kent State for pushing her to succeed.

“I was doing very high risk, high reward science there and was working with some of the best experts in the world and my particular field," Brager told WEWS. "And they really pushed me to not only be the best scientist but the best communicator, the best writer, the best teacher.”
