Whether you are an admitted student or just starting your college search, we are excited to share with you and your family what makes Kent State distinctive – from our vast number of unique academic programs to our world-class faculty to our truly beautiful campus, you'll soon see that you belong here!
Our tour begins with a 30-minute admissions presentation followed by a 90-minute student-led walking tour of campus. The tour will include campus highlights such as the Kent Student Center, classrooms, model residence hall rooms and the Warren Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
Please note, our campus tour will be a modified experience with precautions taken in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and each reservation has a limit of one student and two guests. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accommodate more than three people in a tour reservation.
Schedule a Campus Tour
Campus tours are available Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and on select Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Reservations are required and should be made at least two weeks in advance. Keeping You Safe During Your Campus Tour
When on a campus tour, you and your guest(s) will be asked to adhere to the Flashes Safety principles. These principles ensure an outstanding and safe experience for everyone.
Most importantly, we ask you to follow these operating principles to keep you and our campus community safe.
- Monitoring Your Health: All members of the university community must self-monitor daily for symptoms and we are asking our guests to do the same. If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been in close contact with someone with symptoms or a positive diagnosis, we ask you to cancel or reschedule your campus tour and seek a medical evaluation by calling your primary care physician.
- Face Coverings (Indoors): Face coverings are required for everyone, indoors, on all campuses, regardless of vaccination status.
- Face Coverings (Outdoors): Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear a face covering outdoors. Face coverings are recommended for all people who are not fully vaccinated when they cannot maintain safe physical distancing outdoors.
For additional information regarding facial covering and distance guidelines, please visit COVID-19 Prevention Information.
