PhD student Rose Leach wins AAPA William S. Pollitzer Essay competition

Please join us in congratulating PhD student Rose Leach! Rose received the William S. Pollitzer Student Travel Award from the American Association of Physical Anthropologists (AAPA). The theme of this year's essay competition, appropriately, was informed by teh COVID-19 pandemic and racial injustice. Specifically, contestants were asked to describe the role that biological anthropologists play in informing the public about the interrelationships between public health and race.
