Art Without Limits - 2023
KENT, OH– The College of the Arts welcomed over 750 attendees to campus for Art Without Limits: a free arts entrepreneurship-focused event for prospective students, KSU students, alumni and community members.
There are truly no bounds to the impact the arts can have on lives, communities and careers. Art Without Limits, a free arts entrepreneurship event, was created to educate and inspire students, alumni and community members for a life in the arts. On Wednesday the College of the Arts welcomed over 750 attendees to campus– including 300 from high schools from around Northeast Ohio– to hear from industry professionals, engage in interactive demos and share strategies for developing an entrepreneurial mindset in the arts.
"During Art Without Limits we witnessed the magic of our students, faculty, future flashes and arts entrepreneurs all joining together for a day of creativity and development," said Diane Petrella, Dean of the College of the Arts.
Spearheading this event is Nick Petrella, an entrepreneur-in-residence in the John S. and Marlene J. Brinzo Center for Entrepreneurship, and a faculty member in the College of the Arts.
“Talent is everywhere, but access is not, so part of the mission is to keep this event free for the attendees,” said Petrella. “Art Without Limits is also where we announce the winners of our annual ArtsLAUNCH! Grant Competition.”
Enjoy this glimpse of Art Without Limits. We hope to see you next year!
