What is your degree program?
I am in the process of getting a Ph.D. in Public Health, Epidemiology. I plan to graduate in late 2022 or Spring 2023.
What do you do for the Division of Mental Health and Substance Use?
I help design surveys, clean raw data, analyze it for manuscripts, and help evaluate programs we help conduct.
What is your favorite memory from Kent State University?
I don't have a single one but I have found a couple of close-knit groups that gave me wonderful memories.
Why did you choose to go into public health?
I have a quantitative bent of mind and education and applying those skills to make a difference in the lives of people makes me feel fulfilled.
What is your favorite place to eat in Kent?
I think I ate the most from Mediterranean Grill (no longer in business) and Twisted Meltz downtown.
What is the last tv show you watched or book that you read?
The last TV show I enjoyed is the last season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
What are your plans after graduation?
I intend to teach at the university level.
