Our curricula define our programs, but people animate the structures and bring learning to life.

The mission of our program is to prepare highly effective higher education administrators and staff professionals who possess the skills and competencies required to meet the varied challenges facing two-year, four-year, and graduate institutions and communities today, and to help shape our institutions in the future.

Faculty & Staff

Our faculty is comprised of full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty members in the School of Foundations, Leadership, and Administration. They are joined by adjunct faculty who are experienced administrators and talented teachers.

Students

Students in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs are admitted through a selective process.

• Our master's program students gain experience and leadership skills in colleges and universities throughout the region, and maintain a student organization, the Graduate Association of Student Personnel Practitioners (GRASPP), to support their learning experiences.
• Our doctoral program prepares mid-career administrators at college and university levels.

Alumni

Our programs boast almost 1,000 alumni. Graduates of our programs are leaders in colleges, universities, and other educational organizations throughout Ohio and the nation.
