Kent State Clears the Air with New Smoke-Free, Tobacco-Free Policy

Starting July 1, 2017, all Kent State University campuses will become smoke-free and tobacco-free. The new policy applies to all students, employees, volunteers, vendors, and visitors on all Kent State property locally and abroad.

The policy is in alignment with the university’s healthy campus initiative. Kent State is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy learning, working and living environment for its students and employees. Clearing the air allows us to provide a context in which the entire Kent State community can be comfortable and productive.
