I can log into FlashLine but not Blackboard. (OR) My course is missing in Blackboard or FlashLine. What should I do?

When a user (Faculty or student) cannot see course(s) in Blackboard, syncing their account will resolve the issue.  Users (Students and Instructors) can now sync their own accounts.

Step 1. Log into FlashLine from http://www.kent.edu

Please type in the Search Box (found at the top) : Sync

(if not found move to Step 2)

Students

Step 2.  Click on profile photo to edit account profile

Step 3. Under Missing Courses in Learn?, select Synchronize Account

Instructors

Step 2. Under Faculty & Advisors Resources, select Blackboard

Step 3. Select Blackboard Sync

NOTE: It should take 60 seconds to process the sync provided there are no other issues with the course itself such as the Blackboard code not being set, the instructor is not using Blackboard, instructor has a start date on course that is in the future, student account issues such as non-payment, etc.

If the course is missing from here, it means that you have not yet formally been assigned to teach this course in Banner. Please contact the scheduler in your department for further assistance.

If you continue to have problems, please submit a ticket at support.kent.edu using the routing shown below:
