*Selection into the DI Fellows Student Program is competitive.  Students selecting this level of membership will be contacted to discuss the further review process.

  1. Students from Kent State University campus who are willing to work in cohorts on short workshops and training sessions; then be collated into collaborative teams to participate/compete in challenge style events, such as the hackathons
  2. Willing to engage in a series of experiences that help to deeply embed cross-disciplinary collaborative design thinking methods to addressing innovation at the intersection between disciplines
  3. Expected to complete training successfully to be recognized as official "Design Innovation Fellows" who will assist in mentoring and leadership on future DI Challenges
  4. Ability to take leadership and act as mentors on further student DI Challenges
  5. Can submit proposals to gain prioritized access to dedicated DI Fellow working spaces in the Design Innovation Hub
  6. Is eligible to submit for small funding support of cross-disciplinary challenge-based innovation projects/events
  7. Becomes part of a community of diverse maker/problem-solvers and receives all newsletters and announcements about Design Innovation directly
