Megan (Nellis) Burnside, BS ’00, Pittsburgh, Pa., wrote: “Chris Burnside, BA ’01, and I are excited to share a collaborative project that was released by the Dayton Writers Movement, a new creative company dedicated to telling well-written stories with a mission. “Unwritten” is an eight-episode serialized podcast (with writers and actors from Ohio) that launched on September 1. The dramatic and comedic podcast brings up important topics surrounding LGBTQ, sexual violence and mental health.”

Kyle Lyons, BSN ’03, Severn, Md., was promoted to the rank of Commander (O-5) in the U.S. Public Health Service. He is a senior policy adviser to the U.S. Surgeon General and is stationed in Washington, D.C. Lyons currently resides in Severn, Md., with his wife, April, and son, Trystan.

Paul Marnecheck, BA ’03, MA ’10, North Royalton, Ohio, has been appointed to the Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Charities Board of Directors. His term will run until 2020 and he will be assigned to the Board Education/Development Committee and the Program Committee.

Russell Galeti, BA ’05, Washington, D.C., and Mary (Wagley) Galeti, BA ’05, announce the birth of their first child, Latham Elizabeth “Bizzy” Galeti, on June 27, 2016.Russell Galeti also was accepted as a term member to the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C.

Heidi (Ludwick) Baumgart, BS ’06, Chardon, Ohio, has been named marketing director at Event Source in Cleveland, Ohio. Event Source is a leading Midwest event rental company that purchases, inventories, delivers and rents luxury event products in Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit and Pittsburgh. She will be leading a rebranding charge as well as new product launch initiatives.

April Samuelson, BS ’08, Columbus, Ohio, recently graduated with her MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She will be starting as a marketing program manager at Vertiv Company, formerly Emerson Network Power in Westerville, Ohio.
