The Museum is always happy to consider donations that will enhance the breadth and depth of its collections, and we look forward to meeting prospective donors and adding wonderful objects. The following points will help explain our collection procedures:
- If you have a piece of period or modern clothing, textiles or other decorative art objects to offer, please contact the curator, Sara Hume, either by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 330-672-0302.
- Please DO NOT drop-off or send objects without first contacting the curator - we want to make sure that your potential gift is properly identified and cared for.
- Please be ready to e-mail digital images or mail photographs of the pieces for consideration in addition to supplying any information that is available including the maker or designer, who originally owned or wore the items, and where they may have been used.
- To ensure that every donation makes a unique and worthwhile contribution to our collection numbering over 30,000 pieces, all offers of gift must be reviewed and approved by committee.
