Crystal Burnett

Crystal Burnett joined the General Counsel staff in January 2023.  Her primary practice areas include sponsored research, intellectual property, real estate, construction, and premises liability.  Crystal previously served as a Magistrate in Summit County Probate Court and Summit County Domestic Relations Court and is a graduate of The Ohio State University and The University of Akron School of Law.  She has presented at several continuing legal education seminars, including the Ohio Association of Magistrates Conference and the Bernard I. Rosen Domestic Relations Institute, and has been an instructor at the Summit County Multi-Agency Crisis Intervention Team Training Program.  Crystal currently serves on the Summit County Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board and the Board of Directors for the Law Alumni Association of the University of Akron School of Law.  She can be reached at 330-672-3856 or cburne13@kent.edu.
