Global Village
Global Village is March 23-April 24, 2026, in Oscar Ritchie Hall!
This five-week celebration highlights our vibrant international community and the shared values that unite us as Golden Flashes. Rooted in respect, kindness, and inclusivity, the initiative fosters a safe and welcoming global community where every individual feels a true sense of belonging. As we reflect on lessons from our history and navigate a changing world, we are reminded of the importance of global understanding and global engagement. Overlapping with the Office of Global Education's "I Heart Travel" week (April 6-10th, 2026), the celebration promotes global cultures, study abroad opportunities, and international programs through fun, interactive events that inspire students to better their communities and grow as positive global citizens.
