Set during the Great Depression, Annie follows a spirited young orphan living under the strict rule of Miss Hannigan at a New York City orphanage. Her life takes a hopeful turn when she is chosen to spend time at the home of wealthy businessman Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks, where her charm and optimism quickly win over the household.
As Warbucks begins a search for Annie’s real parents, a reward brings out the worst in those looking to take advantage of the situation. With danger looming, Annie must rely on her courage and bright outlook to find where she truly belongs.
